FOSCO attends the 5th Food Festival in Hanoi

On December 10^th 2017, the 5^th Food Festival organised by Service Department For Diplomatic Corps, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, took place in Van Phuc, Ha Noi, with Ambassador Nguyen Nguyet Nga, Spouse of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh, as the patroness of the event, and Madam Mai Thi Hanh, Spouse of Former President of Vietnam joining in the event. There were more than 100 kiosks hosted by many Embassies, by different cultural centers and those units under the management of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the event, Ambassador Nguyen Nguyet Nga, Spouse of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh, gave 10 present sets to the unfortunate children from the orphanage For Tomorrow. Madam Nguyen Nguyet Nga shared that this year’s event continues promoting humanitarian & charitable acts, good friendships, the sharing and caring for others in our community.

The event is an occasion for cultural exchange, better understanding about each other and for introducing Vietnamese tourism to our international friends. At the same time, this international Food Festival extended the humanitarian spirit with many groups&individuals contributing to the Charity Fund. After 4 times being organised, the event has collected more than VND 1 billion to give to the disabled, the orphans and the unfortunate women...

At this 5^th Food Festival, FOSCO participated with a kiosk selling southern specialties including Khọt pan cakes, Bà Ba sweet soup, handmade figures from coconut leaves, tropical fruits like Pomelo, Mango, Pineapple, Star-apple, Orange, Lime and Pía durian pie from Sóc Trăng Province. FOSCO’s kiosk did attract many visitors and all of the  was given for charity through Service Department for Diplomatic Corps, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
