Celebrating 68 years of diplomatic relation between Vietnam and China (January 18, 1950 - 2018) and welcoming Lunar New Year of the Dog 2018

On the evening of January 30th 2018, Chairman of FOSCO Board of Members Ngô Anh Tuấn attended the celebration of 68 years of diplomatic relation between Vietnam and China (January 18, 1950-2018) and to welcome Lunar New Year of the Dog 2018 organised by Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China.
Consul General Chen De Hai said that the relationship between the two countries has reached many good results in politics and economics. He hopes that in the coming years, the bilateral relation between the two countries will be more and more developed in different fields with more  exchange and cooperation in order to meet the needs and mutual interests of the 2 peoples, contributing to the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Vietnam.
Director of HCMC Department of Foreign Affairs Lê Quang Long stated that: HCMC Department of Foreign Affairs warmly congratulates 68 years of diplomatic relation between the two countries, applauds to the good results in the strategic cooperation on different aspects between the 2 Communist Parties, 2 Governments, 2 Peoples such as economics, politics, exchanging senior delegations. At the same time,  he wished that the good friendship between the two countries will be more and more developed, enhancing the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China with sustainable growth, partly contributing to the regional as well as world peace, stability and development.
Many China’s senior delegation visits to Vietnam in 2017 marked new steps in the development of Vietnam-China relation, including: The visit to China of Vietnam’s General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng (January 2017); the visit to China and attending Senior Forum for International Cooperation “Belt and Road” of Vietnam’s President Trần Đại Quang (May 2017); the State visit to Vietnam and attending APEC Conference of China’s General Secretary & President Xi Jinping (Novemeber 2017).
